PICKWICK TEAS - direct from the Netherlands

The history of Pickwick tea began in 1753. In that year, Douwe Egberts started to sell coffee and tea melanges in his small shop in Joure, Friesland. Up to April 1937, the tea was produced under the name "Douwe Egberts" tea. In order to emphasize the British character of the tea, they decided to change their name to an English name. The wife of the CEO of the company at that time did not only love tea, but she also loved books by Charles Dickens. After reading "Pickwick Papers" by said author, she proposed the name "Pickwick."

Pickwick teabags are very plump and have loads of flavour. One bag will make 1 litre of tea. They are lovely iced.

Pickwick teas are $8.40 per box
